...my "big comeback" is getting more and more delayed...*le sigh*
Haven't forgotten about dA or getting back into things, but I've found out recently that the acid indigestion/acid reflux I thought I had last fall is actually gallstones. Went to Urgent Care, the ER, a surgeon and my doctor, and the prognosis is that the gallbladder, she has to come out. On June 13th, to be exact. It'll be my first surgery, so I'm a bit nervous, but I'll be SO! GLAD! to be free of this infernal upper torso pain that feels like I'm trying to pass kidney stones under my breastbone. Ugh. And as I've passed kidney stones in the past - in fact, according to the ultrasound they did whilst looking for gallstones, I have more floating around in my kidneys - lemme tell you, it's NOT FUN.
Anyhoo.
Haven't given up on drawing - just had to deal with medical crises and being busy at work, not to mention I still have to fight with Paypal so I can get a permanent version of SAI and finish those two contest pics.

Look, it's hiatus time again!
...well, it's been hiatus time for several months, but that's besides the point.
I'm going to keep my account active, but new updates will happen when they happen - and since I'm totally and thoroughly immersed in the wonderfulness that is Soul Eater, and have been obsessed with writing fanfics about that spectacular series, it'll probably be a long while before I update anything round here.
I still check my page every once in a while, though! :D

I'm making myself NOT mirror stuff in SAI as I work on this...gonna draw it all by hand if it kills me!...well, I did a little bit of the ol' copy and paste, but only on the "A" and the suit symbols. ^^ Still working on coloring the rest of it.

Both pics here are WIP entries for contests - one DestinieKirby (https://www.deviantart.com/destiniekirby) is holding, and a challenge/contest by OC-Challenge (https://www.deviantart.com/oc-challenge). I'm trying to concentrate on drawing more of my OCs, as well as work on their backgrounds, info, stories, etc., and I figure

Well, seems like my plans to be more active here on dA are gonna be on hold, because I unfortunately dropped my netbook, and now it won't come on.

And of COURSE I don't have the money right now to get it repaired or replace it. Of course. (Don't want to replace it if I can help it 'cause a lot of my updated stories and character ideas and things are on the hard drive. Yes, the good ol' hard drive that won't start up now. Let this be a lesson, kids - no matter what it is, make SURE you back up your documents and stuff.)
