This sassy gal is my version of * Lamontraccoon's character, Lei-wong. =D Drawing her was just what I needed to help break that ol' block of mine, and I must give a big THANK YOU! to LR for allowing me to draw one of his characters!

I must say that I think she turned out very well - even if her right foot is cut off. ^^; (My fault when I made a copy of the pic for coloring.) I *will* say that I still need to work on hands, proportion and shading, but then again, I always say that. XD Seriously, though, I'm veddy pleased with how this turned out. ^_____^

Line art was done with mechanical pencil, a Staedtler pigment liner (03) and colored pencils.
Background and signature: Photoshop 7.0

Her hair is what made me want to draw her - I just loved the way the colors blended.

(I wish I could show you the original artist's version of her, but unfortunately !Lamontraccoon deactivated his account quite a while ago. :( )

Yeah, I don't know why he deactivated his account, but I wish he would come back. :( I liked his art, and being able to draw his characters helped me many times when I had art block.

I'm doing good, and you?

Nice jugs! I bet she could really hurt a guy with those fists. How come you only draw white girls? ;)

Ooo, you naughty boy! XD (Yesh, I must admit, her chest came out a bit bigger than I meant it to...aheh.)

Those fists are for the sole pupose of decking guys who make smart-arse comments about her chest. ^_^ (I dunno, really - ask Lamont, 'cause this is his character!)

As for your last comment - *thhhbbbppppppt!* XP

Yes ma'am, it was done with the good ol' coloring tools of Crayola colored pencils (with the odd Prismacolor cp thrown in - apparently I had a few in my collection I didn't know about). =^_^=

I had tried out different colored backgrounds and effects on PS, including a dark grey background, and then outlining Lei-wong in a lighter grey using the airbrush tool, but...it just didn't look quite right. ^^ But a solid black background always seems to make both B&W and colored art pop, so I thought, why change what works? XD

Though one day, given the time, I'm gonna make a more interesting background. ^^; Black is good, but I know there's more options out there for background effects and coloring...like maybe drawing my own for once. XD
